In case anyone wants to do some additional reading, I've got links here to things discussed:
- Frankly, you should all just read this Wikipedia entry about Jeeves, because there are some fabulous facts (for instance, Jeeves once resigned a job because of his employer's eccentric choice of evening dress).
- Here are the two stories narrated by Jeeves: 'Ring for Jeeves' and 'Thank You Jeeves.'
- It is a real bummer that the Jeeves and Wooster television series never worked out because just look at this list of characters.

Great book club, but much much too short. I suppose the combination of impending meteorological doom and subdued drinking got the better of us...
Next month, a return to form! At my place! I think I'll be sending the email tomorrow.
There's also a short story called "Bertie Changes His Mind" narrated by Jeeves -- I forget which book collection it's in, and can't find it anywhere, dammit!
Oh, and ... here's another book that anybody who loves P. G. Wodehouse is likely to love: "Diary of a Nobody" by George Grossmith. More British comedy, very very good.
